Thandiani is a hill station in the Galiyat, about 30 minutes' drive above Abbottabad, with open meadows, pine forest and views towards the Pir Panjal range. The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) runs a campground here with two-bed and four-bed camping pods.
If you'd rather stay under canvas, tents can be hired, and visitors report pitches for your own tent too. Washrooms are on site, and food can be ordered from the staff or you can cook for yourself.
